Legal PA | 12 Month FTC | £35,000

A leading law firm is looking for a Legal PA to join its team in Edinburgh on a 12-month fixed-term contract. If you thrive on variety and love being the person who keeps a busy team running smoothly, this Legal PA role could be exactly what you're after.

The role:

• Provide high-quality, proactive PA support to a team of partners and fee earners
• Support fee earners' financial performance, including client billing, reports and management of matter balances
• Assist the Business Development team with events, conferences, CRM administration, CVs, bids and tenders
• Organise and attend core team and client relationship meetings where required
• Manage matter opening, engagement letters and matter specifications, liaising with onboarding as needed
• Handle conflict checks and client due diligence processes in line with best practice
• Oversee file management, including closures, billing, clearing balances and archiving
• Deliver comprehensive diary management, including forward planning and proactive meeting/travel arrangements
• Identify cost-efficient options for complex travel bookings
• Prepare meeting packs, itineraries and hospitality arrangements
• Delegate tasks to Document Production, including pitch and tender documents

About you:

• At least three years' experience in a comparable PA or secretarial role
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• High degree of competence across the Microsoft Office suite
• Proven experience delivering exceptional client service
• Detail-focused, with experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team
• Flexible approach and committed to exceeding expectations

Salary and benefits:

• £35,000 and discretionary bonus and benefits
